Waiting around vs being patient

On my journey to being a better me, I've been doing a lot of thinking and I believe some things are worth sharing, because who knows? maybe it can help somebody else too.

I was going through a rough time and was constantly anxious and insecure and that made me act a bit crazy, scared and needy hahaha
So I thought about it, trying to find what was the source of all those bad feelings. I got to the conclusion that I was waiting around too much, waiting on answers to my messages, waiting on people to show up, waiting on responses to my actions, on my skills to improve and getting kinda desperate as they took time to arrive and also because I had no control over them.
After realising that, it turns out to be like this: yes, I had to wait, I had to be patient with other people and myself. Everybody has their life to live and own circumstances that may keep them away and it takes time for practice to show results in the journey to self improvement, BUT what you can't do is sit around worrying about it, you did what you could, if there is nothing else you can do on that topic, change topics and start working on something else.
Getting busy and working on multiple things is the best way to keep anxiety at bay and avoiding getting stuck. Inertia is a dangerous thing, but if you get momentum, you can just keep going forward easily. There are things you just can't rush and there is nothing you can do but wait for them, but that doesn't mean you can't work on something else and keep on improving in other areas.

Hope that wasn't too confusing hahaha

Here are a some of the sketches I did this week to start getting the rust off:

And here is this week's progress:
