Exercising Patience

Updates!

I had to remove my thyroid, Harvest Sky project was dropped and will no longer be completed, it is dangerous to go alone is kind of in a limbo and I'm stuck.

Now that all that is out of the bag, let's look into things and not be so negative about it hahaha

My thyroid was an on going issues for 10 years and it was bound to happen sooner or later, it is over and done, there were no complications and now I just need to be patient and wait for my body to heal from the surgery.

Harvest Sky was enjoyable to work on for a while, but it soon began to feel heavy and we were just forcing each other to keep going, so we decided to drop it and focus on other projects.
I might work on it in the future, but it probably will be only illustrations and animations, as I don't know much about programming, even though it could be a good exercise for learning that, well we'll see.
For now here is something I worked on, another playable character, it started as a fox and then changed to a fennec, I was testing some colors:

The It is Dangerous to go Alone blog is not really going yet, but I'm gonna work on that! not giving up on it just yet! I'm thinking about how to get people exited about it XD

I've been feeling stuck for a long time now, even before I graduated I was already feeling stuck and it kinda just kept getting worse and worse, so I've been thinking about it a lot and got to some conclusions about it.

I'm stuck because I can't start the things that I want/need to do and that is happening mostly for fear of failing and lack of patience, which is a dangerous duo to deal with. When you conquer your fears of failing and get started on something, if you don't have patience with yourself, to let yourself grow and get better on it, you'll get frustrated and give up or start doubting yourself.

I used to be a really patient and disciplined person in high school, but during college I don't really know how, but most of it is gone, so I'm gonna work on getting that back, through self confidence (which was never my forte), patience and discipline exercises.
What's better to exercise all that than via games? I'm not sure how this is gonna turn out to be, but I HAVE to give it a shot, so here goes nothing!

The idea is to make a list of things I want to work on and get better at and give it a point every time I practice that skill, posting my progress here every week. If I can keep this going for a long while it will be enough to set me in motion and will exercise my discipline to post and work on schedule and to be patient with myself, as I'll be able to see my progress through points and levels on skills.
So ate the end of each post, there will be this image below, with my progress of the week.

This is it for this week, I helped my mom with dinner today, so that counts for cooking practice XD
Until next week!
